Community Psychiatric Institute (CPI), founded in 1972, is a private, non-for-profit ambulatory behavioral health and sub- stance abuse program. We provide psychiatric and biopsycho-social services for adults over 18 years old.
CPI's comprehensive program is designed to provide continuity of care following inpatient hospitalization or as an alternate to psychiatric/substance abuse hospitalization. Our staff works with clients to maximize their level of functioning by providing a full range of therapeutic and rehabilitative services. Treatment is offered in our partial hospital, intensive out-patient services or in the out-patient department.
CPI serves those individuals who exhibit an impaired ability to function autonomously on a daily basis due to the presence of an acute or chronic disabling emotional, cognitive and/or social dysfunction.
CPI is proud of its new facility. After nearly 40 years in our previously location, we now offer barrier free access to our entire facility. The enhanced amenities include spacious group and interviewing rooms, a medical/nursing suite enabling us to offer a range of physical healthcare services. Each of our rooms are wired for audiovisual/cat-5/ and the latest in safety and security. We have a wonderful cafeteria and kitchen serving excellent breakfast and hot lunches.
