Birch Tree Psychotherapy: Welcome to a Great Place to Work.
Birch Tree Psychotherapy is a small, clinician-owned specialty practice founded in 2012 by Dr. Catharine Devlin. Dr. Devlin is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in eating disorders and OCD treatment. Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation for specialized care and a trusted referral network of therapists, physicians, treatment centers, and other professionals who turn to us for our expertise.
BTP is a place where clinicians can deepen their skills, develop their specialties, and build meaningful connections with colleagues who share their commitment to individualized, high-quality care. Whether you are early in your career and eager to learn or an experienced clinician looking for a collaborative, values-driven practice, we believe good work happens when clinicians feel supported, connected, and valued.
While we provide general mental health care, our primary areas of specialization are
1. eating disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
2. child mental health through play therapy.
Our multidisciplinary team of therapists and dietitians works collaboratively to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care to our clients and their families. Our approach is grounded in intersectional feminism, Health at Every Size®, and body liberation. These values shape not only how we care for our clients, but also how we work together as a team.

We believe there’s something special about being intentionally small. It allows us to foster genuine relationships, offer personalized support, and create a workplace where clinicians are an integral part of the team. We are committed to building an environment where people can continue to grow professionally, feel connected to their colleagues, and do work that matters.
We also believe that caring for our clinicians is essential to caring well for our clients. That’s why we offer a generous compensation and benefits package designed to be competitive within the field.
At Birch Tree Psychotherapy, you’ll find more than a place to work. You’ll find a community where you can grow, contribute, and feel at home.
