Our Story
North American Calendering was established by Frank Bonilla in 2012 with the primary objective of offering vertical integration of North American Fuel Tanks to supply fuel bladders to the armed forces. Initially, the company had a single calendar and slitting machine. NAC has since expanded to occupy a 65,000 square feet facility on a 5 ½ acre campus, providing ample room for growth and expansion.
Presently, North American Calendering has evolved to become a prominent supplier of calendered sheet and specialty fabrics to a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Hose, Conveyor Systems, and Roofing. To meet the growing demand, the company has added two three, three-roll vertical calenders, with the fourth ready for in-house assembly. Additionally, the company has Cameron 610 sheer slitter, and Autometrix 35 FT digital cutting table to enhance its competitiveness in the industry.
It is noteworthy that North American Calendering specializes in uncured calendering and does not provide cured calendering, mixing, or molding services. As such, it seeks to support its clientele rather than compete with them.
North American Calendering prides itself on its commitment to supporting small businesses, which it considers the company’s foundation. The company accords small businesses with the same level of attention and dedication as it does to large corporations.
