Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Prospect and initiate new business sales while building business referral relationships.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license (must have currently)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas
  • Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and listening
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risks, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Comfortable making presentations to potential customers
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
  • Genuine willingness to learn and be coachable
  • Provide timely and thorough activity reports to manager
  • Stay current on product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
Experience

  • Licensed Insurance Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
  • State Farm experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation: $35,360.00 - $80,000.00 per year
