POSITION OVERVIEW:
Do you have aspirations to own your own business one day? If so, you may want to consider working in the office of Jonathan Phillips - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships to promote State Farm products including auto, home, life, and health insurance. This position will allow you to experience working in an agent's office and to explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to warm leads.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to be coached.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Property and Casualty license - or willing to get licensed 
  • Life and Health license - or willing to get licensed
  • Ability to commute Monday - Friday to our office location (must be within a 45 minute - 1 hour drive)

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
