ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As the Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Craig Vickers - State Farm Agent, you play a critical role in supporting our customers’ financial well-being by marketing and selling a comprehensive range of insurance products. This includes property and casualty products such as home, auto, renters, and liability insurance, as well as life and health insurance products like term life, whole life, disability, and health plans. Your goal is to ensure our customers are well-prepared for their financial future through personalized insurance solutions and education.

At State Farm, we employ a needs-based selling philosophy, focusing on understanding each customer’s unique situation and recommending the most appropriate products to meet their specific financial protection and planning goals. As part of a full-service financial services agency, you will help customers build a strong understanding of personal finance and provide them with opportunities to plan for retirement and long-term financial security.

You will also serve as a liaison to the Agent—who is a licensed Financial Advisor with State Farm Investment Management Company—introducing insurance customers to investment and retirement planning services.

We are looking for a personable, proactive, and sales-driven professional with a strong follow-up ability, an outgoing and friendly demeanor, and exceptional interpersonal skills who is passionate about helping people protect what matters most and secure their financial future.

COMPENSATION:
This is a competitive salary position complemented by a strong commission structure. Life insurance production commissions are designed to significantly enhance and multiply the earnings potential you generate on the property and casualty side, providing a lucrative opportunity for high performers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Market and sell a diverse portfolio of insurance products, including:
    • Property & Casualty: home, auto, renters, liability insurance
    • Life & Health: term life, whole life, disability, health insurance
  • Apply State Farm’s needs-based selling approach to understand and address customer needs effectively
  • Educate customers about personal finance fundamentals and retirement planning opportunities
  • Assist customers with insurance policy applications, renewals, and claims processes
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the financial advisor to facilitate introductions to investment and retirement planning services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and policies
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and clients to nurture relationships and close sales
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships
  • Demonstrated strong follow-up skills and persistence in sales efforts
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in insurance sales, customer service, or financial services preferred
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
