Job Description
Steve Stagg State Farm, a leading provider of Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance, is seeking a motivated and person-centered Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a consultant for our clients, helping them identify risks and protecting their assets with tailored insurance solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building long-term community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and qualify sales leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive needs-based conversations to recommend appropriate coverage levels.
- Policy Management: Process applications, issue quotes, and maintain accurate client records in our CRM.
- Customer Retention: Provide exceptional service to existing policyholders, assisting with renewals and coverage updates.
- Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and activity metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensing: Must possess or be able to obtain a Michigan Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health license.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex insurance terms in simple language.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, persistence, and a coachable mindset.
