Seeking a Customer Care Manager to strengthen, retain, and grow relationships with our existing customers while identifying opportunities to better protect them through additional insurance products. This is a sales-focused relationship management position, with approximately 70% of the role centered on sales, policy reviews, customer development, and new opportunities, and 30% focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and resolving service needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and sales opportunities within the existing book of business.
  • Maximize sales opportunities with existing customers through needs-based conversations and appropriate product recommendations. 
  • Cross-sell and deepen customer relationships across auto, home, life, and other available insurance products.
  • Generate new-business opportunities through referrals, outbound outreach, and existing customer relationships.
  • Consistently follow up on identified sales opportunities and confidently ask for the business.
  • Meet established monthly sales, activity and customer-retention goals.
  • Manage customer inquiries and provide timely, professional resolution of account and policy needs.
  • Assist customers with billing questions, policy changes, claims guidance, and other service needs.
  • Proactively contact customers to strengthen relationships, improve retention, and uncover additional needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, sales opportunities, follow-ups, and outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Acquisition Specialist and Agent to maximize agency growth and customer retention.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Sales-minded and comfortable indentifying opportunities during customer conversations.
  • Self-Motivated and comfortable working toward measurable sales and activity goals.
  • Highly organized and capable of balancing proactive sales activity with customer service responsibilities.
  • Coachable, accountable, and motivated by personal and team growth.
  • Previous sales, account management, insurance, or relationship-based customer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses.
What Success Looks Like
This is a sales-focused customer relationship role, with approximately 70% of the position dedicated to sales and customer growth and 30% to service. Success is measured by your ability to identify opportunities, conduct policy reviews, deepen existing relationships, generate referrals and new business, retain customers, and consistently meet established production goals.
Compensation: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
