Job Summary: Responsible for the assistant management of The Social Barber shop, bar and spa. Responsible for providing superior customer service and ensuring team members are doing the same. Provides consultation to clients, selects equipment, cuts hair, styles and finishes hair.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing superior customer service and ensuring staff is doing the same
Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through our list of products and services
Maintain a presentable and professional appearance for our customers as well as the entire staff
Open and close the location
Hold and participate in huddles, team meetings, trainings and continuing education programs
Coach, manage and hold team members accountable to expectations
Assist manager in the hiring, training and terminating of team members
Create and distribute schedules
Create reports to review with team and manager
Responsible for inventory and supply management
Responsible for delegating tasks to team members
Assist manager in the marketing efforts of the business
Perform other administrative duties
Performs Barber and/or Cosmetologist services on clients
Clean around station, shop, bar, spa, restrooms and assist in washing, drying towels
Stock shelves with products
Must be able to drive to other businesses for the purpose of picking up supplies
Systems utilization to schedule, view, communicate and check out patrons
Promote services and membership programs
Sell products or grooming supplies
Maintain required licenses
Adhere to all regulatory, safety and sanitation policies and procedures and ensure staff is doing the same
Perform any other duties assigned by manager and/or owner

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
