Introduction
Park Slope United (PSU) is a leading youth soccer club in Brooklyn, serving over 3000 players. Built on core principles of community, integrity and excellence, we aim to continue our growth in the coming years to become more prominent on a regional and national level.The PSU Developmental program serves children from ages of 2-10. Kids enter at all different experience levels.
The program is split into two different parts: the Developmental League and Developmental Classes.
Developmental Classes make up the "Practice" component of our Developmental Program, while the Developmental League makes up the "Game" component of the Developmental Program and involves one specific skill taught in the warm-up with most of the time spent in a structured game.
Job Details
We are actively seeking committed, enthusiastic and knowledgable candidates to work within our developmental program. Successful candidates will be able to teach fundamental skills to the children while emphasizing development, teamwork and fun. They will be expected to lead training sessions and games with 5 - 10 year olds, while following our curriculum and focusing on the holistic development of each individual player within their team.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
- Enjoy working with children
- Care about the holistic development of all players within the developmental program
- Patient and caring manner
