The Job

Bring Soccer Island to life through energy, enthusiasm, and creativity
Lead engaging soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
Set up and take down equipment before and after each session
Teach age-appropriate soccer skills using Soccer Shots’ expert-designed curriculum
Encourage confidence, teamwork, and character development through positive reinforcement
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child
Follow all attendance, safety, and on-site procedures
Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, teachers, and site staff

Qualifications

No prior sports or coaching experience required
Passion for working with young children
Energetic, engaging, dependable, and responsible
Strong communication skills
Safety-conscious and able to adapt to the needs of children ages 2–8
Reliable transportation to schools and parks throughout Northeast Philadelphia
Ability to stand, jog, and model basic children’s soccer skills
Ability to obtain all state-required child safety clearances

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 2–8 that combines soccer, character development, and fun. Our goal is to provide an exceptional recreational experience while leaving a lasting positive impact on every child we serve.

Our program is built around three key areas:

Coaching: Positive, energetic coaches who know how to connect with young children
Curriculum: Age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education standards
Communication: Clear, consistent communication with families and partners
