HVAC Install Helper – $90,000 To $120,000+/year – Residential And Light Commercial (Shreveport/Natchitoches)
Aire Serv of Shreveport/Natchitoches is hiring an HVAC Install Helper for mostly residential straight cool changeouts with some light commercial work. This role is built for someone with some install or construction experience who is dependable, coachable, and ready to grow, and for strong high‑attitude applicants with no direct HVAC experience who want to learn the trade.

What you will do
- Assist the lead installer on residential HVAC changeouts and installs, primarily straight cool systems, with some light commercial work.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for each job.
- Help set equipment, line sets, ductwork, drain lines, pads, and basic components under supervision.
- Keep the truck, job site, and materials organized, clean, and job ready.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow directions from the lead installer and support the crew to keep jobs moving efficiently.
- Help protect the customer’s home and maintain a clean, professional job site.
- Learn HVAC installation standards, safety procedures, and quality expectations on the job.
What it takes
- Six months or more of HVAC, construction, mechanical, or general install experience preferred.
- Strong applicants with no direct HVAC experience will be considered if attitude and work ethic are excellent.
- Able to work hard in attics, outdoors, crawlspaces, and other field conditions common in HVAC install work.
- Able to lift 60 pounds and handle physically demanding work consistently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions closely.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools and power tools.
- EPA certification is a plus but not required.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
