Interpersonal Skill-Building: Teaching swim will allow you to demonstrate and improve your people skills, as each day will challenge you to engage with both children and their parents. Ever thought about taking a public speaking class? There’s no audience more forgiving than a group of toddlers!
- When working with children, it’s of the utmost importance that you present a calm, knowing demeanor, and have confidence in any instructions you give. These traits will serve you well in the future, no matter what kind of work you may end up doing.

A Path to Full-Time Work: While this may only be a part-time job for you at first, aquatics represents a multi-billion dollar global industry with full-time positions all over the country. A part-time job at Leaps & Bounds can lead to salaried career opportunities elsewhere as a:
