Position: Appliance Repair Technician
As an Appliance Repair Technician at Appliance Tec, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficient maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment. You will also identify opportunities to develop new customer relationships by offering additional services. Upholding our values, you will show respect and courtesy to all customers and colleagues.

This position is ideal if you are self-motivated, excel at troubleshooting, and can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and customers are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in customers' homes.
- Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment information from customers.
- Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports.
- Perform other duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct appliance repair experience (No experience? Apply for our apprentice position!)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficiency with tablet-based technology
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance
- Capability to perform strenuous work under varied conditions
- Flexible hours (no weekends)
- Complete set of standard industry tools (specific specialty tools are provided)

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
