We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at FlexPlus Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our clinic, supporting both our staff and patients in their journey towards better health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assistance: Assist licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants (PT/PTAs) in guiding patients through their exercise routines and rehabilitation programs. Provide support and motivation to patients during their sessions.
- Maintaining Clinic Environment: Ensure that our clinic is clean, organized, and a welcoming space for our patients. This includes cleaning and disinfecting equipment, treatment rooms, and common areas.
- Laundry Duties: Manage the clinic's laundry needs, ensuring that linens and uniforms are consistently clean and ready for use.
- Laser Treatments: Perform laser therapy treatments under the guidance and supervision of licensed PT/PTAs. Ensure proper equipment maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties as directed by the Clinical Director. This may include scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing front desk tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required). Coursework in Anatomy/Physiology, Exercise Science, and/or Kinesiology preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Passion for helping others and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, take direction, and demonstrate initiative.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinic operations is a plus.
