Administrative Assistant

Full Time • Primrose School of Midland at Westridge
Seeking a full time Office Administrator to assist in the operation of the school in accordance with Primrose School policies and procedures and state licensing standards.  Help provide a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children, parents, and staff.  
  
 Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child   safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • A degree in early childhood or a related field or a CDA with at least three years’ experience in a preschool environment is preferred but not required
Skillsets:
  • Competent and confident
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening and follow-up skills 
  • Able to work well with others  
  • Solution and detail-oriented    
  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment 
  • Coachable
  • Early Education Experience a plus 
Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors in a professional manner
  • Provide superior customer service to all external and internal customers. 
  • Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute office supplies as necessary
  • Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of/at school name Employee Handbook
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
