- Accurately diagnoses and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home or business
- Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment for work performed using our state-of-the art mobile app
- Complete invoices and provide detailed notes at the conclusion of each service visit
- Ensure efficient use of company’s vehicle and equipment
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have experience in home appliances and customer service
- Ability to navigate tablet-based technology
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on occasion without assistance
- Ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances including: lifting, stooping, reaching, standing, reaching with hands and arms, kneeling, crouching, crawling and climbing or balancing.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers and team members
- Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus!
- An understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Skilled in reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams
- Base pay is commensurate with experience and skill level.
- Training opportunities provided to enhance base pay.
- Commission and bonuses provided in addition to base salary based on personal performance.
- No weekends. We support a work-life balance and strive to maintain a M-F 8-5 work schedule
