Overall Duties Include:
· Lead the contents divisions’ presence both in field and in shop
· Ability to follow directions and direct your crews
· Transfer and act on direction from Project Manager into physical production
· Work side-by-side with other Contents Technicians to deliver a quality service on time
· Communication with property managers, homeowners, adjusters for job details and total loss reports
· Collection of field related documentation
· Collection of all paperwork required on each job (Work Authorization forms, sketches, Material forms, labor forms, scope sheets, JHAs and any other paperwork that is requested by our direct repair programs)
· Communicate with customers on the job site
· Manage good use of company supplies and minimize waste
· Time card reporting– you and crew is clocked in / out accurately and job costed correctly. T-Sheets access and update daily with team
· Assist with admin tasks such as ordering supplies, coding invoices, reporting receipts, supply sheets, etc.
· Assured software reports and homeowner job update communication, syncing iPADs to assured daily.
· RMS job notes daily
· Scoping jobs and instructions
· Scheduling assistance with the ERT PM
· Problem solve and make judgement calls
· Vehicle maintenance and reporting
· Load shop supplies, meet techs at job site
· Safety prep (5 min walk through before starting job) pointing out safety hazards
· Report job site injuries
· Customer compliance (broken contents) address with Operations Manager, ERT PM and homeowner
· Submit total loss report
· Support special projects as directed by the Operations Manager, and ERT PM
High Detail Job Accountabilities:
· Receive the work assignment at beginning of job then interpret instructions and deliver a high-quality end result.
· Document work completed through photos, job update notes and daily logs.
· Drive company vehicle in safest and most respectful manner possible
· Alert Operations Manager of any vehicle disturbances (Oil changes, check engine light, etc.)
· Maintain cleanliness of each vehicle used that day be the standards set by Paul Davis
· Relay homeowner or property manager questions to Operations Manager to follow up with when not able to answer yourself.
· Professionally represent the PD principles of honesty and integrity
· Set up work stations, including assembling boxes
· Assist in identifying damaged items
· Gather, sort, pack affected contents
· Clean and process affected contents
· Proficient utilization of applicable cleaning equipment
· Repackage cleaned contents
· Proactive communication with management and team leaders
· Show up clean, work clean, leave work area cleaner than it was when you arrived, and clean up after yourself
· Restock supplies
· Jobsite security and safety
· Cleaning of homes and commercial spaces
- Participates in marketing and business development as the need arises.
- Participates in the collection process of payment from customers.
- Complete special assignments as requested by Supervisor
- Participates in emergency services when an “All hands on deck” scenario arises.
- Participate in on-going problem solving and practicing continuous improvement of the department and company as a whole.
- Participate in Paul Davis social events, Goal Setting and Review, All Team Meetings and as many other opportunities as possible to engage with the rest of the team.
Hours:
· A typical shift for this position is 7am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday.
· However, the Contents Technician must be able to contribute to the on-call rotation for weekdays and weekends when needed.
Reward:
· Compensation is evaluated on a yearly basis effective from the start date of employment of each calendar year. An annual reward planner (ARP) is completed at that time.
