Glass Doctor offers quick and affordable glass services to business, home, and auto owners at more than 270 locations across the United States and Canada. The position has two areas of resposibilies that include basic book keeping and customer service.
As Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative, you are a key member of the team and represent Glass Doctor on sales, support calls, scheduling, and office management. You are responsible for proactively generating sales as well as handling service requests and customer complaints. - Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis
- Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
- Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
- Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
- Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Bookkeeper Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient skills in QBO and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Inside Sales Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous manner
- Perform marketing and sales functions to sell additional work and earn business
- Generate automotive and flat glass quotes using Point Of Sale software
- Schedule work orders
- Complete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer complaints
- General office management
- Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Inside Sales Customer Service Representative Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in the auto and/or flat glass industry is a plus
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and personality

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
