Immediate need for Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift to work in local community settings with whom Right at Home has a partnership. Ideal candidate must have a desire to assist patients in the community setting such as hospital and/or nursing home alongside other health care professionals.

Requirements of the Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift

· High School Diploma or GED

· 1+ year of Homecare/Healthcare/Caregiving Experience

· Resume

· Valid Driver’s License

· Proof of Car Insurance

· Basic Cardiac Life Support Training Preferred but not Required

· Pass Background Check

· Vaccination Record if Available, Willingness to Receive Vaccinations

· Dementia Experience Preferred but not Required

Responsibilities of the Caregiver for 1st and 2nd Shift

· Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfers

· Provide assistance with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning

· Assist hospital staff with care and treatment of patients

· Document in the medical record

· Follow hospital policies, procedures, and protocols

· Maintain clean working environment

· Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
