ServiceMaster of the Fraser Valley is a restoration company that started in Abbotsford in 2002 and since has opened offices in Langley and soon Chilliwack. Our people are the core of our business, and we are looking for someone who is people centered at heart and enjoys variety in their day to day.

What You Will Do

Clean carpet/furniture with green solutions on customers premises, using hand brushes, determining washing method according to condition of carpet/furniture
Vacuum carpets/furniture to remove loose dirt
Spray carpet/furniture with cleaning solution
Remove excess suds water from carpet/furniture during scrubbing operation, using extractor
Identify persistent stains and selects spotting agent to remove stain according to type of fiber, dye and stain
Rinse carpet/furniture using extractor to remove excess water
Remove water and chemicals from carpet extractor machine and clean, replace hoses and cords to proper storage positions
load and unload equipment for transportation to and from customers location

What You Have

1 year of experience/knowledge of carpet cleaning (custodial experience beneficial)
Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract
Clean Criminal Record Check
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Able to work alone or with minimal supervision
Ability to lift industrial fans 30-40 lbs
Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers 75-100 lbs
knowledge of construction and basic building supplies
