The job responsibilities for the position include assistance with ADLs and IADLs such as:
- Companionship activities like friendly conversation, walks, games, reminiscing.
- Personal care like bathing and dressing
- Assistance with transfers including use of the gait belt, or other assistive devices
- Assistance with light housekeeping.
- All job duties lead to one goal: Keeping your client feeling happy, safe, and healthy at home
Who are our clients?
Most of our clients are in their 80's, 90's, and even over 100 years old! They mostly live in single family homes in the north and northwest suburbs like Winnetka, Northfield, Glenview, Glencoe, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Des Plaines, Wheeling, and Prospect Heights. These are your neighbors whose families need extra help to care for their loved ones.
Who are our caregivers?
Our caregivers are people who LOVE people. They are born with a heart of service and genuinely enjoy caring for others. We employ nursing students, career CNAs, and others with experience & a passion for caring for older adults.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 2+ years as a professional caregiver
- High School Diploma/GED
- CNA preferred
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
