Mosquito Control Technician FT Year-Round (Flexible Schedule)

Full Time • Grand Rapids
Mosquito Control Technician Job Description:
  • Trained expert who provides a remarkable client experience
  • Travel to each client's home or business
  • Survey each property
  • Treat standing water with larvicide
  • Apply a barrier treatment to the surrounding landscaping using a backpack sprayer
  • Participate in marketing initiatives
 
Mosquito Control Technician Timeframe & Location:
  • Technician opportunity is full time and runs year-round. Scheduling is flexible depending on your availability. An occasional weekend or late evening could be possible during the main season (April - Oct). Position will begin starting Now.
  • Based in Grand Rapids, MI & service surrounding territories such as Rockford, Ada, EGR, Lowell, Caledonia, Byron Center & more.

Mosquito Control Technician Requirements:
  • No prior experience necessary but is a plus
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
  • Be comfortable driving throughout the workday
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Be energetic, hardworking & reliable
  • Possess excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
***current State of Michigan Applicators License REQUIRED (If you do not have your applicators license, we can license the right candidate) ****
