Job Summary

Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures oil changes and light mechanical work.

Responsibilities

Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service and automotive requirements and materials needed
Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services and oil changes
Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required
Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
Reviews service with sales staff
Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy.

Desired Qualifications

Will train as needed.

Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
- Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience.
