We are currently seeking a seasonal Mosquito Control Technician to provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, eliminating and repelling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests for the residential and commercial customer's properties.
• Communicate with customers by setting expectations and walking them through the process to guarantee exceptional customer service.
• Complete certification requirements as determined by Mosquito Joe leadership.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Maintain good customer relationships.
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements.
• Maintain state licensing requirements.
• Handle pesticides in a safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal information.
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own.
Required Attributes:
• Must possess a valid state Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (this can be completed and obtained during initial training).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs
• Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service.
• Sense of humor.
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
• One (1) year or more of experience preferred
• Licenses/Certification: Registered Pesticide Technicians license preferred
