RN Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform care as defined by the client’s Plan of Care and within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act
  • Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
  • Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs

RN Job Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted / unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky
  • Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
  • Minimum three (1) year of documented clinical experience. Private duty, Infusions, Facility Staffing is preferred
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)
  • Adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Familiar with joint commission
