Technical Supervisor 

The Company and Opportunity:    
 
The holding company is an established business operating in the greater Atlanta area for the past 7 years. 
 
The shareholders are restructuring their AirDuct MD business i.e., broadening the product and service offering into the Indoor Air Quality market sector and is an excellent opportunity for the incumbent to get in at the ground level to help set the stage and grow with the company. 
 
Management is looking for a self-starter HVAC qualified (EPA), ambitious  leader/technician that will work hand in hand with the shareholders to restructure the existing company which has been operating for about 1 year. 
The successful incumbent will perform the role of Technical Director/Master Technician and lead the in-field operations at the same time helping shape the strategic direction.
  
 
The Position
 
The Technical Director will be responsible for managing the operations of crews for HVAC Systems, air duct cleaning, coils, blowers, dryer vent cleaning projects and sanitization of environments and air flow systems for residential  and commercial customers- indoor Air Quality domain
The company is willing to provide training and external certification to be able to operate in the Indoor Air Quality market sector
Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide strategic input to the shareholder and work on implementation of new initiatives.  
  • Provide strong leadership to the teams to ensure a successful, safe, timely completion of the project meeting the customer expectations, company service and profitability goals.  
  • Be a good communicator leading other from the front to cooperatively work together.
  • Have a working ability with computers etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring all safety measures are enforced on jobsite.
  • Must be able to handle stress and job demands and make logical decisions.

  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must live in Greater Atlanta GA area
  • Must have I-9 background check for legal work status?
Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge/experience/qualification in HVAC (Universal EPA Certification) Construction, Service industries and Air Duct and Vent treatment are preferred, but not essential.
  • Industry certifications a plus (i.e., IICRC, NADCA, OSHA, etc.) is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Compensation/ Sign on bonus -negotiable for right candidate

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience: 2-5 years HVAC or equivalent

License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Essential)
  • HVAC Universal EPA Certification (Essential)
  • NADCA Certification (Preferred) 
  • IICRC Certification (Preferred)
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
