About the Job:

The eCommerce Coordinator, Merchandising Operations, will play a central role in managing the operations tasks of all channels (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, eBay, and our own websites). The Coordinator is responsible for Merchandising Operations such as creating images for all listings using photoshop and other image editing tools, adding and editing product listings across various eCommerce platforms through channel-specific datasheets, maintaining and updating product catalogs, updating pricing and inventory, and assisting in content creation as needed. They are responsible for assisting in product and pricing research for the creation of listings, as well as assisting in data-driven reporting across all eCommerce channels.  

Attention to detail is critical for this position as well as the ability to focus on repetitive work. The ability to perform accurate data entry is essential. Studying and learning eCommerce marketplaces, digital marketing fundamentals, and data operations are critical to the success of this role. Gathering data from various platforms/sources, creating accurate reports, and distributing them to key stakeholders regularly will be a key function of this role.        

The ideal candidate must be proficient in Photoshop and able to create new images and edit stock images quickly and efficiently. 

This position reports to the Vice President of eCommerce.

Job Accountabilities

  • 40% Third Party Marketplace (Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, eBay) Data Entry

  • 5% Administration

Responsibilities:

3rd Party Channel Data Entry (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, eBay)
  • Learn and understand channel backend portals 
  • Resolve issues by working with channel seller support teams (open tickets, provide relevant information, and follow up with support teams to resolve all issues)
  • List new products on different third-party marketplaces using bulk imports 
  • Modify listings including product descriptions, upgrades, pricing, and inventory
  • Proactively detect catalog data record errors and maintain data integrity across channels and sync tools
  • Conduct catalog data verification against common entry errors 
  • Track, record, and follow listing best practices across all channels
  • Study and learn marketplace rules and ensure our listings and accounts are in compliance
Website (s) Channel Data Entry
  • Learn and understand channel backend portals

  • Conduct catalog data verification against common entry errors 
  • Adhere to scheduled maintenance of the Company’s eCommerce site
  • Proactively provide ideas for improved data entry processes 
  • Study and learn digital marketing fundamentals such as SEO, PPC, and content optimization
Image Creation
  • Use Adobe stock images to create high-quality product images for our catalog across all eCommerce platforms
  • Take high quality product images and edit them using photoshop and other image editing tools
  • Edit images proficiently and present unique ideas and concepts to Digital Merchandisers
eCommerce Channel Reporting
  • Perform data-driven reporting to support the monthly sales, advertising, compliance, and analytics reports
  • Generate weekly eCommerce Channel performance reports and distribute them to stakeholders 
  • Complete additional reporting as directed by the Marketing, eCommerce, or Leadership teams
Administration
  • Work closely with cross-functional project teams to coordinate activities required to achieve business development initiatives
  • Maintain current knowledge of products and services to be able to accurately complete product listings and assigned research
  • Understand our business, our products and services, unique point of difference, marketing materials, and business jargon
  • Provide support for tasks related to the Company’s CRM (Salesforce)
  • Interface internally with various departments within the Company
  • Participate in Company or departmental meetings and projects, as requested
  • Attend ongoing product and job training including seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.
  • Provide support for additional tasks, as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in progress acceptable)
  • Ability and interest in learning new eCommerce platforms, technologies, and processes  
  • Exposure to selling and/or marketing B2B products and services
  • Proficiency in using Photoshop and other image editing tools and software
  • Proficient in Internet search techniques
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and ability to multitask
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to exhibit accurate and detailed knowledge of the Company’s products and services
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with eCommerce and Third-Party Marketplace catalog management
  • Photoshop or equivalent experience (minimum 1 years experience, 2 or more preferred)
  • Bigcommerce or similar platform experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Project management concepts
