Job Summary:
The Director of Operation at Chick-fil-A Woodbury is responsible for overseeing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement within the business. This individual will guide and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and vision. The role requires strategic leadership, with a focus on performance metrics, systems optimization, and employee development. The Director of Operations will report directly to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead weekly team huddles and reporting sessions to track and achieve scorecard goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:
- Attendance management (e.g., call-outs and time punch issues)
- Drive-thru performance and analytics
- Cash flow management
- Labor and productivity optimization
- Kitchen operations, staffing, and food safety
- Coordinate marketing events and evaluate their impact on operations.
- Manage scheduling and inventory ordering processes.
- Maintain and monitor Personal Development Plans for team members.
- Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain top-tier customer experience metrics (CEMs) and monitor daily performance updates.
- Collaborate effectively with the General Manager to communicate business health and implement improvements.
Expected Results:
- Achieve top 20% performance in CEM scores.
- Maintain Drive-thru stats with a minimum of 80% SOS.
- Achieve an overall satisfaction score greater than 80%.
- Ensure labor costs are between 21.5%-23% with productivity of $88-$93/hr.
- Stay within the top 33% for labor hours.
