Paul Davis is currently looking for an Inspector/Estimator for North-Central Indiana; specifically in the Warsaw and surrounding areas. Our Inspectors/Estimators work with homeowners and insurance adjusters after events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial properties.  As an Inspector/Estimator, you will be responsible for writing estimates for the restoration of affected property and work with the insurance carrier and homeowner for the agreed repairs. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field.

  • Experience with Xactimate and Symbility platforms is preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative or office-related experience and business experience
  • Has a valid driver’s license without excessive points and DUI/OWI
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • 2 years of construction inspecting/estimating experience preferred
  • The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
What will an Estimator do?

·         Photograph and document jobs to assist in determining the scope of work which includes roofs, crawl spaces, attics, and all other areas of the structure
·         Create billing estimates using Xactimate and Symbility software
·         Meet with the customer on their property to scope and write estimates
·         Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPA's
·         Practice continuous improvement. Vision: To provide extraordinary care while serving people in their time of need
·         Restoration Inspectors/Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property

This position is $50,000 annually + bonus plan. We provide onsite and in-class PAID training and IICRC certifications. We recognize hard work and integrity. We work with you on leadership training and peer coaching to ensure you have the best crew. The position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with some flexibility.
