Accounting & Administration Assistant

We are looking for bookkeeping and administration assistant who………

We are a growing & thriving, well-established design and build technology company with 30 employees serving the luxury residential construction market in the greater San Diego area. 
We provide state of the-art solutions from smart electrical, lighting design, mechanized shades, and audio/video solutions. 

  • You believe that getting it right the first time is the only way. You have worked in small to medium size business and know that being flexible is a normal necessity and so your approach reflects this. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Office administrative duties
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, MS office.
• Accounts payable
• Credit card and bank reconciliations
• Process timesheets
• Generate internal time invoices for projects from timesheets
• Tracking gas cards usage
• Maintaining vehicles state registration and inspections
• Managing and maintenance of filing system
• Assist with HR duties
• Request Insurance Certificates
• Record customer payments from various payments methods against RFP's.
• Support Management in special projects.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year or more working in the construction industry
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, QuickBooks with the ability to adapt to new software or internet-based programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Clear attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Adaptable to change and meets varied deadlines
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Possesses a pleasant and professional demeanor

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
• Office/Cubical
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Requires performance of repetitive tasks
• May occasionally lift objects over 25 pounds
• Requires adherence to a set schedule
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
