Responsibilities of the applicant:
- Be responsible for field teams' quality of work and conduct
- Dispatch teams to different job sites
- Ensure that warehouse and service trucks are clean, orderly, and stocked
- Check with technicians during the day to make sure that the work is performed according to procedures
- Get involved in the hiring of new technicians
- Schedule regular technician meetings
- Get involved with safety and technical training
- Supervise job sites for commercial work (may require occasional weekend and after-hour work)
Responsibilities of the service team service teams that will be supervised by the applicant:
- Clean and restore ductwork and HVAC components, dryer vents, and condenser coils
- Install dryer vent items, UV-C components, and flexible ductwork
- Apply antimicrobial coatings
- Manage customer relations and assure quality customer service
- Inspect own work at customer locations and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets DUCTZ quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Work well with other team members and perform assigned duties at a high level
- Properly use and maintain the DUCTZ service vehicle and other equipment
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in managing projects or teams in a trade or construction field
- Experience in the HVAC, restoration, construction, or other skilled trades is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Organized with good verbal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple functions at the same time
- Capable of working effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in high areas or confined spaces
- Driver’s license and insurance
- Clean driving record
Compensation is between $25 to $28 hours, including overtime pay, with a minimum of 40-hour a week, except for weeks with national holidays, and personal
