Level I Appliance Installer Technician

Full Time • Mt. Prospect
As a Level I Appliance Installer Technician you will be responsible for the delivery and installation of products in our customer’s homes and constructions sites. 
 
Accountability’s include but are not limited to:

·         Development of excellent customer service skills.
·         Development of strong partnerships with peers, operations, client service, and logistics teams.
·         Accurate serial and model number tracking for all items loaded on your truck.
·         Accurate serial and model number tracking for all items pick up at vendors.
·         Ensure every client receive a 30-minute pre call.
·         Collect all pertinent information on the PDA in written and photographic documentation.
·         Conduct a proper pre walk inspection. Check for preexisting property damage prior to entering the client’s home with tools or product. Document said damages and notified the client prior to proceeding.
·         Complete understanding of the company paperwork and processes.
·         Maintain a clean truck, in the cab area and inside the cargo box.
·         Understand how to check oil, transmission, tires and lights prior to leaving the store.
·         The ability to master the use of a 2 wheel and 4-wheel dollies and straps while going up and down stairs with an appliance.
·         Successfully deliver and install washers, dryers, refrigerators, and microwave and deliver appliances to customer homes or other specified location.
·         Prioritizes safety when operating trucks and making product deliveries.
·         Comprehensive understanding of installation manuals for the above listed appliances and abilities to identify installation part by their proper name and how to utilize them correctly.
·         Able to work a 6 - day work week (evenings and weekends as needed)
·         Long hours of moving and lifting.
·         Heavy lifting up to 250lbs.
·         Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
·         Perform all duties without personal injury or property damages.
·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Sign on Bonus: $2000.00

This position starts at a pay $17.50 per hour.
