Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure. 


Responsibilities 
  • Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails 
  • Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information and provide solutions
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while staying self-motivated
  • Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
  • Properly document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Meet personal and team quotas
  • Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
  • Interacting directly with customers daily, directing drivers, and following all customer's procedures, as well as internal procedures. 
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Provide information about our products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Investigate customer complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipments to determine responsibility
  • Scheule start time based on business needs
  • Perform routine filing and maintenance if needed
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2 years of Customer Service experience is preferred 
  • Comfortable using computers and customer management software
  • Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of active listening techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Knowledge a of accounting -AP/AR a plus
  • Experience in freight forwarding preferred
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
  • Must be able to work in the USA
