Requirements:
- Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of South Carolina
- Certified CPR and negative 2 step TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum five (5) years of documented nursing experience with backgrounds n Med/Surg, Pediatrics, School Nurse, Emergency, ICU, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health/Hospice (with Homecare Homebase/OASIS documentation experience)
- Licensed driver with valid auto insurance and reliable vehicle
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide thoughtful care to clients and patients based on personalized Plan of Care
- Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s condition and needs, and keep the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
- Proactively update client/patient’s family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
Skills:
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
