Position Overview:

Ensure our customers’ materials are delivered accurately and on time. Vehicle is kept clean and maintained. Willing to cross train in order to provide support to your fulfillment team when not driving. Customer service – YES. Behavior always exhibited

Deliver Driver Duties:

· Check the company vehicle intended for use that day and determine:

o If vehicle is in safe operating condition

o If vehicle has fuel for intended moves for that day

o If any immediate safety or maintenance concerns are there. If so, schedule any potential maintenance or action and advise the Fulfillment supervisor and/or site ownership.

· Develop an initial ‘Delivery Plan’ or schedule based on any required times and delivery locations. Discuss any preferred sequence of job completion with Production as appropriate to assist in the delivery process.

o Coordinate any Pickup requirements.

o Utilize Map-quest or other means to determine best routes to and from customers.

o Ensure all required Pickup and Delivery slips are filled out with all required customer, contact, material, quantities, and Invoice/order numbers.

o Discuss plan with Area Lead or Supervision if necessary.

· Before leaving each day, make sure the following has been done:

o Check with all key Production, CSR, and Fulfillment personnel to make sure all requirements were handled, and no new needs have come in.

o Examine WIP report for status and review requirements for the next day.

o Discuss any needs or concerns with supervision.

· Maintain a safe and orderly delivery area.

Job Requirements:

· Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

· Customer service – YES. Behavior always exhibited—you own the project and results.

· Participate in improving processes and systems while updating to support changes.

· Computer Literate

· Physical capabilities for lifting and moving materials up to 50lbs.

· Passing of forklift safety course

· Analysis and problem-solving techniques.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
