Produce Manager Job Summary

We are looking for a Produce Manager to run produce department of our grocery store. In this position, you are responsible for ordering, Pricing, Training, Merchandising and stocking the display cases in the produce department and other areas. We do expect you to have produce-specific experience and knowledge, you should have a background in Supermarket. You also need to have the stamina to stay on your feet for a full shift, able to lift 40-50 lbs. on consistent basis through out the day.

Produce Clerk Duties and Responsibilities

Ordering
Inventory Management
Pricing and Signs
Stock display cases
Keep displays stocked throughout your shift
Inspect produce for damage
Help customers in your department
Keep your workplace clean and organized

Produce Clerk Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous produce department experience or supermarket
Customer service experience
Physical stamina
Organizational skills
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
