Experienced Caregiver - Weekend Shifts

Full Time • Tustin
Homewatch CareGivers is looking for certified caregivers with home care experience to join our growing team! Our caregivers service the Tustin, Irvine, Santa Ana, and surrounding areas. Hiring for immediate need for morning and evening shifts on the weekends. $17 - $19 per hour with paid mileage and driving time!

As a Caregiver, you will be able to build meaningful relationships with clients, grow your skill set with our free online learning university, and have a flexible schedule. Caregivers must be reliable, dependable, honest, and caring. Caregivers must also be observant enough to recognize changes in their clients, and be capable of alerting the appropriate personnel when necessary.
 
 
Requirements
1. Negative TB test
2. Active Home Care Aide Registration 
3.  Vaccinated for COVID – 19
4. reliable transportation
 
 
Physical Qualifications
1.       Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 4-12 hours per day
2.       Able to lift 20-30 pounds
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting clients with personal care (minor to major assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, minor light housekeeping) in a safe and beneficial manner in accordance with the care plan
  • Transport clients as needed on errands, appointments, and social activities (must possess a valid driver’s license and have current automobile insurance) 
  • Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client
  • Ability to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, skilled facility or related experience
  •  Ability to drive clients
