About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants, promoting cognitive and social development.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants to explore and learn.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
  • Facilitate engaging activities that promote sensory exploration and motor skills.
  • Support and mentor assistant teachers in daily classroom activities.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
  • Must have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education OR have 5 years of infant experience in a licensed daycare facility
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting, preferably with infants.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing demeanor are essential.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
