Construction Manager
Full Time • Houston
Manages, coordinates and administers construction projects with a specific timeframe and funding amount in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Manages civil construction projects from concept to completion and assures the needs and priorities of the client are fully understood and integrated by all parties.
- Oversees the activities of outside consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with established company standards and requirements/guidelines and contract requirements.
- Assists with preparing project budgets and facilitating the processing of proposals. Assist senior Estimator personnel and planning, as assigned, with procurement, bidding, negotiating, construction and closeout as required to support the planning and construction phases of projects.
- Maintains and monitors project expenditures and schedules to ensure that the project stays within the approved budget and prescribed timeline.
- Coordinates project activities; assigns tasks and provides guidance to personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of the construction project.
- Manages assigned construction projects to ensure project aspects of scope, budget, schedule, and contract compliance are carried out in accordance with specified objectives; ensures the work of contractors and consultants abides by Client and contractual requirements.
- Assures daily reports are logged properly
- Maintains relationships with customers
- Analyzes and presents project delivery approaches, develops alternative approaches and facilitates implementation
- Oversees project close-out and claim resolution
- Performs other duties as required.
Compensation: $65,000.00 per year
