Shift Leader Position Overview:
As a Shift Leader, you will be an ambassador of Ladybird and our core values: caring, humble, hungry. You will be an integral part of the guest experience through face-to-face interaction, and you will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

Open and/or close the store
Lead completion of checklists for opening and closing, and hold team members accountable to standards
Direct positional shifts or adjustments during a shift
Work as the expo during the week and possibly other positions on weekends
Take inventory and enter vendor orders
Taste food at the beginning of the shift
Lead cleaning and organizing during the shift (starting with daily deep clean tasks)
Be the point of contact for guests with issues or needs, solve their problems, or pass them on to the GM
Fill out the end of day report (EOD) honestly and clearly

Who You Are

Food, Restaurant, Team and/or Customer Service experience
At least 1 year of leadership experience in this or a similar service industry
A team player with a positive attitude
Quick and adaptable learner
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver personable customer service and desire to make connections with guests everyday
Accountable in upholding high standards

Physical Requirements:

Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
Able to multitask and lead FOH and BOH on a shift, while also working a position
Ability to read and comprehend information at a close range, and follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Ability to use electronic systems, such as computers and tablets
Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
Subject to exposure to cleaning chemicals

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
