Job Summary

Lock 8 Equipment is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to operate a computer to input data into inventory management software, the ability to lift heavy objects, and some driving for pickup truck deliveries.

Responsibilities

Pick inventory accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
Prepare inventory for shipping by packaging, labeling, and documenting items in the inventory management system.
Receive inventory by checking the items against the purchase order and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Put inventory away in designated locations in the warehouse.
Use a computer to update inventory management software with accurate inventory levels and locations.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as a forklift, to lift and restock inventory.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Occasionally drive a pickup truck to make deliveries to customers or suppliers.
Perform manual labor tasks as needed.
Operate machinery and tools as required.
Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist other team members as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
Physical strength and endurance to perform manual labor tasks.
Effective communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
