- Diagnose and repair residential appliances including, but not limited to washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, freezers, dishwashers
- Utilize tablet and/or phone to document and research information
- Provide exceptional and timely customer service
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vans
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 years’ experience as an in-home service provider
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Van, computer, cell phone, gas card and uniforms are provided when you finish training and are ready to be on your own.

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
