- Identify and prospect new clients while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships with clients.
- Warm leads provided via direct mail and digital sources. No cold calling.
- Assess client's professional liability insurance needs and provide recommendations for appropriate coverage options
- Negotiate insurance terms, conditions, and pricing with carriers to obtain the best coverage for clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals
- Conduct risk analysis and develop insurance solutions to mitigate client risks
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to develop marketing strategies and tactics to generate new business opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines established by the professional liability carrier
- 5+ years of experience in professional liability insurance sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry trends
