Who We Are:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in probate and estate litigation, with a focus on contested probate matters.
- Someone who is compassionate, as elder law is sensitive work.
- Someone who truly enjoys talking with and helping people.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar and in good standing
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in contested probate matters, including but not limited to will contests, trust disputes, estate administration issues, and guardianship disputes
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex contested probate matters
- Collaborate closely with the firm's attorneys and paralegals to develop and implement effective strategies in handling contested probate cases
- Stay up-to-date with developments in probate law, regulations, and industry best practices
- Steady caseload: As an Of Counsel Attorney at our firm, you will benefit from a consistent stream of cases without the need to seek out clients on your own.
