Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage and prioritize all activities within the Maintenance Department.
2. Identify and implement opportunities to improve departmental performance and efficiency.
3. Communicate maintenance issues, equipment needs, and scheduling requirements effectively with Engineering and Operations teams.
4. Plan, schedule, coordinate, and perform maintenance work orders to ensure safe and reliable operation of all equipment with minimal downtime.
5. Assist with plant improvement projects and equipment modifications, coordinating with outside contractors and vendors as necessary.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, equipment files, work order backlogs, and spare parts inventory.
7. Order parts, tools, and materials as required to support ongoing maintenance activities.
8. Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all production and facility equipment.
9. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, recommending corrective actions.
10. Perform facility maintenance and repairs such as:
- Repairing plumbing leaks and clogged drains.
- Replacing doorknobs, locks, and door closures
- Maintaining paint booths and drive belts
- Patching and painting interior/exterior walls
- Supporting general building improvement projects
11. Obtain cost estimates for building, grounds, and machinery repairs.
12. Coordinate facility-related waste management and disposal activities.
13. Remain available for emergency maintenance calls on a 24/7 basis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
2. Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
3. Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
5. Strong time management and organizational abilities.
6. Solid math aptitude and analytical thinking.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Experience with ERP and CMMS systems (preferred), Basic machining, fabrication, and welding knowledge (preferred).
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
