Job Title: Sales Associate
Reports To: Store Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY
This position will help to ensure that the services and selling environment is fun and engaging for
customers. The Sales Associate will drive and grow sales, deliver outstanding customer service and
merchandising. Under supervision of the Store Manager, the Sales Associate must display and have
knowledge of, and participate in store promotions, programs and products. The Sales Associate should
connect and build rapport with prospective and existing customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers and educate them about our products & services
Walk the sales floor (all 3 floors) to interact with customers and keep sales floor tidy
Maintain Stock/Inventory, notify management when products run low, keep products neat and
in order
Work at the register, providing a positive experience
Maintain a neat store appearance, straighten merchandise, sweep floors, keep register area
clean
Prepare product displays and sample boards
Reach sales goals
May assist in counting cash from daily receivables
Perform other duties as assigned by management & other team members

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Extensive standing and bending
Lifting up to 10 lbs.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

Knowledge of Excel and Word
Experience with DIY and interior design projects
Painting experience
Design Sense
Professionalism
Previous Sales Experience
Good verbal and written communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS

Ability to work weekends
Reliable transportation
3 to 5 years sales experience
College preferred but not necessary

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Amanda’s affinity to home design came full circle when Suite Pieces acquired Aboff’s Design Studios and fully expanded into furniture & home design. Our full-service design studio was born, Suite Pieces Interiors.

Suite Pieces 10,000 sq ft showroom now includes custom window treatments, Graber & Hunter Douglas shades, custom rugs, wallpaper, reupholstery, custom furniture, artwork, accessories, vintage furniture and more for the aspiring designer in everyone! Our in-depth design services offer an individualized full-service design experience that is truly tailored to each clients needs.
