Overview
Under general supervision, performs a variety of repair and routine semi-skilled maintenance for a large gym facility. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to; equipment repair, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities

Keeping equipment, spaces, structures and infrastructure in proper operating condition.

Performs equipment repairs and works with subject matter experts as necessary.

Installs and repairs the IT infrastructure.

Assembles, repairs, maintains, and furniture and fixtures.

Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to his/her supervisor.

Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to supervisor.

Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.

Assist GM with supervising custodial staff and tasks.

Assists with structural pest control measures.

Clocks in and out during repairs.

Maintains records and logs of daily activities.

Experience
Solid understanding of IT, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems as well as other crafts.

Requirements

Must have tools, transportation, drivers licenses.

Must be fluent in the English language.

Experienced with MS Office and Dropbox.

Have access to a PC, laptop, and email platform.

Compensation

· Will negotiate a fair hourly rate.
· Will require W9 and invoicing.
· Will require clocking in
