Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and maintain a safe home environment
- Provide medication reminders and observe changes in client condition
- Assist with transportation, errands, and appointments as needed
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff
- Work independently in clients' homes while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA license or HHA certification (Required)
- Current CPR certification (Required)
- Valid driver's license (Required)
- Reliable vehicle and active auto insurance in the caregiver's name (Required)
- CEUs current and up to date (If Available)
- Physical and TB screening (Preferred, if available)
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening (Required)
- Previous caregiving experience (Preferred)
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and passion for helping others
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
