- Education: Earned master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in the field of psychology, counseling, or social work

Licensing: Individually licensed in Texas with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC) with an active license in good standing, as:
- Full Licensure. A fully licensed mental health professional with any of the following licensing designations: LPC, LPC-S, LCSW, LCSW-S, LMFT, LMFT-S, or
- Provisional Licensure. A pre-licensed mental health professional who is working towards full licensure with any of the following licensing designations: LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate. *We are not accepting LMSWs at this time*
- All pre-licensed clinicians must also have a board-approved licensing supervisor for their specific licensing designation that has been under signed contract and approved, current with all state, board, and licensing requirements, and in good standing with.
- Experience: Strong candidates will have at least ONE (1) year of professional experience working as a paid licensed therapist in the counseling field.
- Community: Strong ties to community resources and referral partners in Kingwood, TX and surrounding areas.
- Caseload: An established caseload is encouraged, but not required.
- Professional counseling experience with couples, families, and groups.
- Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.
- Proficient general knowledge of types of therapy services, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets.
- Licensed Clinicians will (ideally) be credentialed with most insurance panels.
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse patient population.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
- Professional counseling experience with children, adolescents, teens, and adults.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other clinical or employment documents in a timely manner.
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with patients.
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology such as desktop computers or laptops, sound machines, accessing e-mail and credentialing websites profiles, and recording patient charting documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

- Position
- For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client hours per week.
- For Part-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 15 client hours per week.
- Collaboration with clinic leadership team to implement strategies for clinical efficiency to improve patient care and quality of services.
- Collaboration with clinic leadership team to implement all required policies and procedures.
- Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage individual in-office schedules and office supplies.
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings, trainings, and related clinic events.
- Clinical
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
- Marketing & Outreach
- Engage in outside marketing and outreach for ongoing referral business and growing the Ellie Kingwood brand.
- Active participation and collaboration with Ellie Kingwood Marketing Team to promote clinic’s online visibility.
- Community Relations
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
- Active participation in clinic’s community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with franchise owners and clinic director and consistent with guidance from Ellie Outreach Team.

- Range: $45,000 – $85,000 annually (lower end respective to an LPC-Associate)
